What you see is what you get, no more, no less. This is a gorgeous KLEIN Rascal "Test Bike" that I have advertised before, but still own. I started playing around with my parts bin to see what this thing may look like as a "vintage gravel bike" conversion and this is how far I got before I ran out of parts. I am in the process of downsizing a huge collection, so I am not buying any more parts to go further with this. Maybe there is an adventurous tinkerer here on eBay! We will see! I will throw this on here cheap for a few weeks and see what happens! Here's what you get: *KLEIN Rascal 18" frame labeled "TEST BIKE" under the clearcoat in 9-9.5 out of 10 condition. Stunning frameset in person. *TREK old stock 26 inch wheels with Shimano hub. I am guessing 7, 8 or 9 speed should go on them. Probably was 7 or 8 back in the day. This wheelset looks like they have never been used. Been hanging in my garage a long time, for sure. *New Duro 26 inch tan walls. *New Ritchey silver 42mm road bars *Used Shimano 9 speed bar end shifters *Velo Orange polished stem. I think a 90 or 100? *Some polished stem spacers *Ancient but cool vintage brake levers *Shimano front derailleur *Used Ritchey seat post and used Specialized saddle. *Nice vintage Dura Ace skewers *Skewer style seat post tightener. Never can find these anymore. *Square taper bottom bracket (original-looks perfect) That's it. You will need rear derailleur, crankset, pedals, cassette, brakes, chain and some bar tape and a little know how, If you have a good spare parts bin, this could be you.
